Area description
Carvoeiro is about halfway along the Algarve coastline, approx. 45 min. drive from Faro airport. Portimao is just 20 min. away. Lisbon is 3 hours by motorway to the north. Carvoeiro is a pleasant fishing village with enough restaurants and bars to enjoy a great holiday! There are many beaches and coves to explore and many with their own beach bar and/or restaurant. Portugal is full of history and there are so many places of interest for you to visit. Like the Monchique hills and beautiful and historic Silves. Portimao, too, is famous for its sardine restaurants, and from where you can take one of the many boats and explore the beautiful Algarve coastline! You can even venture as far as Sagres to the worlds end for spectacular views of the coastline.
Property Description
Our lovely apartment is located next to the excellent cliff top resort of Rocha Brava, near to the small friendly fishing village of Carvoeiro on the Algarve, approx 45 min drive from Faro airport. It has a great terrace with views overlooking the resort, the sea, as well as great evening sunsets. There is a large patio on the roof with barbecue / al fresco dinner. There is a double bedroom and a twin bedded room and a large separate bathroom with bath, shower, wash basin and WC. The dining room/lounge is comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated. Has a pull out sofa bed and an extra single bed can be ordered on request. Private parking provided, although a car is not always essential. The swimming pool with sun deck and outdoor shower is for our guests exclusive use.
