Area description

The Balaia complex is situated between the village of Olhos de Água and Albufeira and has easy access to all the Algarve's facilities. The low level layout of the resort includes extensive well maintained gardens, mature trees and plenty of areas for both sun worshipers and those seeking some shade.There is something for everyone. Peace and quiet for those who want it; golf tennis and a choice of swimming pools for those who want to be more active.Resort facilities include 6 swimming pools, restaurant, health club, gym, tennis courts and 24 hour reception with internet cafe. The main Pool has an heated children's pool. Three of the pools have covered bar areas where food and drinks are available throughtout the day. The restaurant "A Varanda" hosts buffet evenings and "a la carte menu". The clubhouse which overlooks the golf course first tee offers lunch and evening menus and a variety of snacks, coffee and drinks.Balaia is also within easy reach of several golf courses on the Algarve including Vilamoura, & Pine Cliffs. This 2 bedroom air-conditioned apartment is furnished to a very high standard, with very spacious living/dining room, kitchen and 2 bathrooms. The living room has TV with BBC, Channel 5, Sky and Sky sports, German, French and Portuguese channels. There is also a DVD/CD player available for use. The kitchen is fully equipped with 4 ring hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine & dryer, microwave, toaster, kettle, electric juicer and coffee percolator.
